Joe Goss Karate has two locations in the Johnstown area: 111 Barron Ave. in the Westend of Johnstown and 110 Lundy Lane in the Geistown Cloverleaf.

New students are given private lessons prior to joining the group classes. Our students are encouraged to train as often as they wish. Classes are available five days per week, morning and evening. Classes for adults and children are separate. We accept children as young as 4 years old.

We teach Traditional Tang Soo Do. Respect and discipline are as important as good, strong technique. Students are taught self-defense and weapons on a regular basis. Our floors are covered with specially designed martial arts mats which allow instruction in Judo and Hapkido techniques.

UPJ Karate Club - University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown
Joe Goss Karate has held classes at U.P.J. For the past 30 years. The current advisor and instructor is Master Koa Beam, fifth degree black belt. The club operates during the Fall and Spring terms with two weekly classes meeting regularly at the Sports Center in the upstairs dance studio. Joe Goss Karate - Bedford
